Hydrochloric acid is used to control the pH level of indoor and outdoor swimming pools and spas. The Australian Standard 3633 defines the pH operating range as 7.0 to 7.8 and the recommended range of 7.2 to 7.6 (SPASA recommend 7.0 to 7.2 for fibreglass pools).
 
Product Warning: Accidental splashes of Hydrochloric Acid should be washed off immediately with water. For splashes in the eyes, irrigate with copious supplies of water. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing vapour or spray.
